Internationally Educated Applicants
If you are currently enrolled in or have graduated from a university degree program outside of Canada, you are an internationally educated applicant. This includes Canadian citizens who have studied abroad.
- You must apply for credentialing. This is a process of evaluating documentary evidence provided by an applicant, to determine if his or her qualifications meet Canadian standards. Apply for this process through the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators.
- Following completion of credentialing, you can complete the application for the Canadian Physiotherapy Competency Exam (PCE). Allpy for this exam through the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators.
- After successful completion of the PCE, you are eligable to apply for a license to practice on Prince Edward Island, providing all other criteria are satisfied. (Registration)
