Temporary Registration

Physiotherapists licenced in another jurisdiction may apply for a temporary licence to allow them to practice during a visit to the Province of PEI. [under 6 (1)(b) of the Regulations]

Applicants for a temporary licence must:

  • Fill in the Temporary License for Visiting Physiotherapists Form;
  • Enclose a copy of proof of malpractice insurance (if working in an environment other than the public health system);
  • Submit a letter from the physiotherapy college of your province, stating that you are registered to practice physiotherapy in that province, and were not subject to an outstanding finding of or penalty or condition respecting a finding of professional misconduct, incompetence, or incapacity;
  • Enclose the registration fee of $25.00.
